I like my kindle but I’d prefer an old fashioned book to sit down with and a nice coffee

I know what you mean but a Kindle slips easily into a pannier - and I can choose from dozens of books.

True. It’s more convenient. I do use mine but certain books I always buy as I have collections and love that book smell

I enjoyed that! I’ve never bikepacked. Might try one day. Only so much room for gear in my tiny flat here, so day hiking, backpacking, ski touring are my primary activities (resort skiing also; it’s how I got outdoors growing up). I do have a mountain bike, but not something to bikepack with.

Is there a good current book about the re-wilding efforts in Scotland? I know Chris posts quite a bit about it across the various social media platforms he’s on.

If you Google 'Scotland - The Big Picture" you'll find what is probably the best blog about re-wilding in Scotland.
